Wolf-2DALI
2 DALI-2 Buses2 independent DALI-2 buses with on-board bus power, plus RS-485 Modbus RTU on a Linux platform — commission fixtures, run scenes and groups, and test emergency lighting. Run it standalone with local Lua rules, or bridge to Modbus TCP, REST, or MQTT.
Why Wolf-2DALI
Two Independent DALI-2 Buses
Each bus addresses up to 64 control gear with its own commissioning, scenes, and groups. On-board bus power — 200 mA at 16 V per channel, switchable in software — means no external DALI supply for typical installations; add one only when a bus needs the full 250 mA. The card measures each bus's current too, so you can flag overload or wiring faults and see how much headroom is left.
Commissioning & Emergency Lighting
Commission luminaires, organise them into groups and scenes, and run DT1 emergency-lighting function and duration tests — all from the Wolf-App UI. Read every gear's status from the data model and script custom behaviour with Lua rules.
Bridge DALI to Any Protocol
Expose both buses over Modbus TCP, REST API, or MQTT, or run fully standalone with local Lua rules when the network is offline. The same unit carries an RS-485 Modbus RTU port for mixed installations.
Key Specifications
| Parameter | Value |
|---|---|
| DALI Buses | 2 × independent DALI-2 (≤ 64 control gear each) |
| Bus Power | Integrated, 200 mA @ 16 V per channel (software-switchable) |
| RS-485 | 1 port, Modbus RTU, 300–115200 bps |
| Status LEDs | TX / RX per DALI bus |
| Power Supply | 21–30 V DC (24 V nominal) |
| Operating Temperature | −40 to +55 °C |
Use Cases
Smart Lighting Control
Commission luminaires across two DALI-2 buses, organise them into groups and scenes, and switch or dim from your BMS or cloud over Modbus TCP, REST, or MQTT.
Emergency Lighting Compliance
Schedule and run DT1 emergency-lighting function and duration tests, read results from the data model, and report status upstream — no separate test controller needed.
DALI ↔ Modbus / Cloud Bridge
Bring third-party or legacy DALI installations onto Modbus TCP or MQTT. Local Lua rules keep lighting running even if the network drops.
